Patchwork Baby Blanket “Enchanted Forest”

The Pattern
Here we take a step away from the traditional whites and pastel colours but instead we take your little one on a journey into to the enchanted forest. Wrap them up in the vibrant forest colours with interesting textures to feel and explore and with the bonus of a soft fleece lining this blanket is sure to send your little one into a tranquil dream filled sleep.

Not only will this delight any baby but will look fantastic in the home and with 25 squares containing a different knitting pattern on each one, your knitting skills will impress anyone that lays eyes on it.

The pattern is 10 pages long (Including 1 front page which is just photos and pattern name) and has lots of step by step photos.

Measurements
When finished the patchwork blanket will measure approximately 70cm x 70cm (27.5” x 27.5”).

Materials Required
One pair of 4.5mm (no.7) knitting needles.
One Cable Needle
80cm x 80cm (31.5” x 31.5”) cream fleece.
One 50g ball each of the following yarns;
Sirdar Snuggly DK Cherry Pie (437).
Sirdar Snuggly DK Spiglet (450).
Sirdar Snuggly DK Baby Beige (429).
Sirdar Snuggly DK Soft Brown (428).
Sirdar Snuggly DK Summer Lime (260).
Sirdar Snuggly DK Tawny (445).
Sirdar Snuggly DK Olive (442).

Please Note:
Yarn companies are constantly discontinuing colours so they can offer new ones to their customers which unfortunately and very frustratingly is beyond my control. Therefore, the yarns given in the pattern are just a suggestion and what was used in the patterns pictured. If you find any of the colours have been discontinued or hard to come by any DK yarn from any brand of a similar colour will work too.

Also available for sale separately in the “Enchanted Forest” Range is a matching bear toy called Woody. Woody loves his blanket and hugs it all day and night long. And why wouldn’t he? His blanket is gorgeous and matches the 25-square patchwork blanket right down to the fleece lining. (This is listed as Brown Toy Bear Knitting Pattern)
