All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end.
The knitting skills required are the basic knit and purl, however, take care when you are assembling the body parts. The crochet hook is used to make the unicorn’s mane with slip stitch. The method is detailed in the pattern with step photos. It is also used to make chains. You do not need to know how to crochet.
The project calls for small amounts of DK (8-ply) weight yarn. Feel free to use your stash.
