This is a beginner friendly drawstring side bag made with squares. It is easy to make for anyone who knows how to do basic crochet stitches including double crochet, half double crochet and single crochet.
The base of the bag is oval shape and the rose bud stitch was used to create the top panel of the base. The bag can be made in any colour of choice and can be easily customized to any size. The 3mm crochet hook was used for the entire project except for the drawstring.

1 & 1/2 skein (150g) DK yarn, weight 3, colour black
50g DK yarn (weight 3), colour baby pink
3mm crochet hook
5mm crochet hook (optional)
