As a Minnesotan, patio sessions in mid-April or late-October when the temps hover in the 40s or 50s are just part of the territory. If we didn’t embrace a chilly pint (or a hot cuppa) outside with friends in all kinds of weather we’d never get our money’s worth out of our patios and fire pits! These fingerless mitts were designed to keep your hands and fingers warm while leaving your fingertips clear to grip your beverage. (Or grab your snack - because what’s a patio session without snacks?!?)

Knit in the round on double-pointed needles, this pattern uses a simple 4-stitch cable and a Western Gusset thumb. The worsted weight yarn and larger needle size mean this is a pattern you could knit up quickly for gifting season!

Sized XS-XL, this pattern is designed to fit hand circumferences 7-9” (18-23 cm) with a negative 10% ease, providing a range of options to achieve a snug but comfortably fitting product.
