Just in time for St. Patrick’s day … when we’re all Irish … comes this fun knitted doll pattern. The doll is approx. 17 inches of cuddly coziness … in his bathrobe and night cap he’s all set for bed!

Knit in the round and almost completely in one piece, you’ll start at the black shoes and knit on up, shaping his belly and heading toward his head. The arms and ears are knit separately and attached securely. The red beard and bit of hair on the back of his head looks best once the stands of yarn start to untwist … creating a very natural look.

The directions contain clearly-written instructions and there are schematics for creating this perfect doll for boys … or girls … or even those of us lucky enough to be Irish!
