This hot pad was made with Memorial Day in mind. I thought it would be nice to gift a couple to someone who was grieving over a loved one who died protecting our nation. It’s nice for the 4th of July holiday or any other patriotic holiday.

I love the dual thickness and durability of this hot pad as it’s made using Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie cotton yarn.

This pattern yields a hot pad that measures about 6” x 6” but you can certainly make it larger.
