Paulie the Penguin feels fine barefoot in the snow – unlike most of us human beings. Why not have him help to keep your feet warm during the cold season with these cute socks featuring a penguin motif?

These socks are worked from the cuff down with a penguin motif in stranded colourwork. To accommodate the tighter fit of the colourwork parts, stitches are increased for this section and decreased again when working in main colour only.

The pattern includes three sizes: Women’s S, M and L to fit leg circumference 17.5 (20.5, 22.5) cm 7 (8, 9)”.

Yarn: Fingering weight yarn with a good contrast and a yardage of approximately 400 m (440 yds) per 100 g: One skein of 100g as main colour (MC), one (one, two) skein(s) of 50g as contrast colour (CC).
Notions: 2 stitch markers, darning needle

Please note that that the colourwork motifs are charted only and there are no written instructions for the motifs provided.
