Pauline had been in my head for quite some time. Named for my mother I wanted a gentle easy repeating pattern filled with texures while remaining light and lacy. Pauline was born. I am very proud of her. She is by far my biggest project to date and I couldn’t have gotten her to where she is now without the help and support of those in my testing group. I am forever grateful.

Pauline whilst made primarily using 4ply Scheepjes Whirl and Whirlette, can also be made in heavier yarns. A gauge is provided for that. You can see from some of the wonderful project gallery images that others have made it in both light worsted and worsted weight yarns (DK and Aran)

If your gauge is slightly loose it will require a 2nd whirlette.

For Light worsted (DK) yarn approximately between 1500m to 2000m are required again this is dependant upon your tension.

Pauline is available in both UK and US terms and I hope you enjoy making her as much as I did.

Pauline’s skill level is set at a confident beginner. It features a range of stitches and has photos throughout.
