This is an intermediate level pattern, and uses US crochet terminology.
It includes detailed instructions with many phase photos to show how to crochet two versions of a granny square with a pawprint motif, to be used to make a temperature blanket.
Each square can represent the temperature data of a week, either as a single weekly average, or as daily temperatures (one day per round). The pattern minimizes the number of yarn tails to weave in, and includes design and layout suggestions.
The assembly method and border is up to the user, no specific instructions are included in the pattern.
