Police Constable Pemberton is reporting for duty. The doll is knitted predominantly in stockinette on single pointed needles, and the helmet chin strap is a single chain worked on a crochet hook. The buttons, belt buckle and helmet badge are embroidered after knitting. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toy is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and white embroidery thread to decorate.

One size only - PC Pemberton is 17cm tall (including the helmet).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
