There is no required gauge for this design.
I used a 4.25 hook and suggested yarn color is I Love This Yarn (ILTY) Brand by Hobby
Lobby.

My finished size of this project is 41” x 45” with a green border. The border is not included in the pattern. I also changed green and gray to a lighter shade or darker shade to add visual interest in the project.
