Have fun with using different yarns or use the same yarn for this wrap. Either way it is a great short wrap for many uses.

The boarder is knitted first, then stitches are picked up along the top edge for an easy lace pattern to work the body of the wrap. An I-cord bind off gives a sturdy finish.
