Peach pattern uses only knit stitch, no need to purl! Very easy.

Knitting lace could not be more simple than this. All you need to know is to knit and do yarn over. No purl stitch at all. Also you just repeat three rows for this fabulously looking pattern, that will look beautiful from both sides. So there is no right or wrong side to worry about. The pattern is knitted straight, so it is very enjoyable to knit without too much to figure out. Peach is very versatile shawl in use: either around shoulders, neck, or even your waistline. I have also used it as my summer baby blanket.

My inspiration for this lace pattern came through thinking of simple and easy knitting. I wanted maximum output with minimal input. So you will notice this pattern is easy enough to work with.

For this project you need to know how to cast, knit, do yarn over, knit two together, bind off and weave ends in. No need to purl at all. Peach is knitted flat from side to side in circular needles, because of large mount of stitches.

YARN & YARDAGE
568 yds / 520 m =160gr cotton (100%) of fingering weight yarn. All cotton yarn will work perfectly.

NEEDLES & HOOK
Size US 6 / 4mm circular needles 32 inches/ 80 cm long. Peach is worked flat by circular needles.

KNITTING
Peach is worked flat and straight from side to side.

FINISHED SIZE after blocking
17 stitches x 30 rows = 4x4 inches/ 10x10 cm in blocked knit.
A blocked gauge swatch is recommended for proper finished result.
