This tutorial, full of photos and detailed written instructions will teach you how to make Peacock Feather crossbody bag with 3D feather elements that are BUILT-AS-YOU-CROCHET! In other words, with this unique technique of building the 3d elements as you crochet the main bag, you do not need to make a lot of tiny feathers and attach them separately, as all of the feathers are created alongside the main bag, one round at a time.

You will need yarn of the same weight in 5 colours. I used Hobbii Rainbow cotton 4/8. Overall the amount of yarn for each colour is minimal (ranging from 11 gr to 40gr for each colour, approx. 0.3oz-1.4oz - the exact amounts are listed in the pattern), and thus this project is perfect to clear out a stash of little bits of yarn left over from other projects.

Final size (if using similar yarn to mine) -the flat laying bag measures 14.5cm x 23cm (approx. 5.5x9 inches). Length of the strap – 135cm (54 inches).

I would absolutely love to see your finished project so please feel free to tag me on your FB or IG post if you are sharing your completed bag!
