This design is is a fashioned lace (at the most fashions there are 18 passes of the lace carriage before knitting off with the knitting carriage). Some knowledge of lace knitting is required before embarking on this design.
The design starts off wide (almost the full width of the needle bed) & goes off to almost nothing at the end. You will be shaping on the right hand side only, so you will get a right angle triangle shawl when completed.
Yarn is Harmony by Uppingham yarns. The count is 2/30s (cobweb).
You will need approx 250gms of this yarn for the practice swatches & also the scarf itself.
