There is an error in Round 18 of the pattern.
Round 18 should read: Ch 3, (V-st in next sc, ch 2, sc in center dc of next fan, ch 2) 8 times, V-st in next sc, ch 2, join with a slip st in first ch of rnd. You now have 72 sts.
In other words: On round 18 you do not have to sc over a ch-5 loop as written in pattern (because there is no ch-5 loop to crochet over). Other that that, Round 18 is correct.
