Pearl Kerchief
A lightweight beaded kerchief with a beautiful drape. I named this the Pearl kerchief because the first iteration included pearls beads, and I find the name Pearl to be gorgeous. :-3

Difficulty level: advanced beginner/intermediate
Stitches Used + Abbreviations(US):
ch - chain
sk - skip
st - stitch
sp - space
sl st - slip stitch
sc - single crochet (dc - UK)
tr - treble crochet (dtr - UK)
sm pic - small picot
lg pic - large picot
Materials:
1.65mm steel hook (or close to 1.65mm)
crochet thread weight 10 (2-ply), ~150m
scissors
small yarn needle
Bead Border Materials:
beads
jumps rings
head pins
jewelry pliers - chain nose and round nose
wire cutters
Filet crochet experience is not strictly required as a brief tutorial is provided, although pattern comprehension and knowledge of the listed stitches are required to follow the tutorial and pattern. For this kerchief, I use the chain 2 treble crochet method.
Two sizes are included: with the listed materials (and my personal tension), the large size comes out to be ~45 cm across the top and ~24cm long. The small size is ~37 cm lengthwise and has a ~20cm height.
The hook and thread size can vary, though it will increase/decrease the size of the project accordingly.
A wire-free method of attaching beads is provided in the “attaching beads” section. Unfortunately, attaching beads with jump rings causes curly/textured hair to snag.
