Materials:
- Red Heart Super Saver (or similar WW4 brand) yarn
o Basic Pea and Repeater: Guava, Medium Thyme, Small amount of black, Small amount of white
o Ice Pea: Turqua, Real Teal, Black, white
o Fire Pea: Cherry red, lemon, pale yellow, pumpkin, flame, black white
- Hooks used: I use Ergonomic soft handled hooks so the MM size may vary; hooks needed will very depending on size and type
o Size “I” (5.50 MM) hook
o Size “H” (5.00 MM) hook
o Size “G” (4.25 MM) hook
o Size “F” (3.75 MM) hook
o Size “E” (3.25 MM) hook

  • Small amount of fiberfill for noses and ice pea spikes
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
  • Optional: Styrofoam head and stick pins for attaching pieces (highly recommended for straight placement of pieces, however, safety pins will also work for pinning pieces hat) Notes:
  1. This pattern is used to create several different peashooter options: Fire Pea, Ice Pea, Basic Pea, Repeater
  2. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, there are no complicated stitches: SC, HDC
  3. This pattern is written in US terms for the right-handed crocheter
  4. This pattern currently includes 2 sizes (will be updated as more sizes are created): a. S- child: age 3-5 – fits head circumference up to 18” b. M- child: age 6-12 – fits head circumference up to 20” c. L- (teen) – fits head circumference up to 22” d. XL- Adult- fits head circumference 23-24”
  5. This pattern contains many photos to help you along the way
  6. This pattern was tested with Red Heart Super Saver yarns
  7. Gauge using HDC and size “I” (5.50 MM) hook: 12 rows= 4”, 14 sts= 4”
  8. Chains at beginning of rounds do not count in stitch count
  9. Colored Numbers in parentheses at beginning of rounds indicate number of sts to use for size
  10. Stitches in brackets are to be repeated total number times stated after brackets
  11. Numbers in parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
  12. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
