These fingerless mittens start with one of my favorite ribs - Corrugated ribbing; two colour ribbing with the main colour for the knit rib and a secondary colour for the purl rib.

The technique for corrugated ribbing is fully explained in the e-book.

The patterning is the same for the front and back of each hand.

Thumb shapings are left and right fitting, with fully formed gussets.

Both body and thumb of mitten employ a two coloured 2 x 2 cast-off to keep the ribbing colours consisten into the cast-off.

The technique for the 2 x 2 ribbing is fully explained in the e-book.
