The shawl is the epitome of simple knit and purl stitches can offer. Other than increase and decrease stitches, you just knit and purl for the entire shawl to create this unique texture. The shawl is meant to be worn unblocked to make the most of the fun texture.

The size will be varied with individual’s tension. You can customize the size easily in any way you would like by changing the number of repeats with more or less yardage on hand.

I had another opportunity to work with Jacki from Luna grey fiber arts, who kindly supported me with gorgeous Celeste yarn. This yarn flows so naturally that I just could not stop knitting the shawl. And it was so much fun to see the texture showing up row by row, that I repeated the middle section more than I had planned, ending up with ripping out a bit! That’s what happens when you have a nice quality yarn with a fun pattern, be careful!

The pattern kit is available soon on Luna Grey Fiber Arts.

Take a look at each testers creation. They are all beautiful.
