This lovely top down crescent shawl starts with a few stitches and gently grows stockinette with YO’S to keep it fun and interesting. It ends with a simple 2x2 rib hem. Also, the top edge is finished off with a clean edge as well. (No garter edge with huge yarn-overs)

Pebble Creek comes with instructions for 2 different options. 1 that uses only 1 skein of fingering yarn and another that uses a small amount of additional fingering in a contrast color for the hem. Both work up quickly.

The crescent shape is a favorite because it’s so easy to wear and this light and drape-y accessory is sure to be a favorite.

And what makes it even better is that the holidays are right around the corner and this makes an incredible gift knit.
