Pebble Stitch Washcloth
This knitting pattern produces a beautiful, cotton face washcloth (or alternatively, a dishcloth). The pattern uses the Pebble Stitch and this one-skein wonder knits up quickly. I hope you give it a try.
Skill level: Intermediate or Adventurous Advanced Beginner
Materials:
Yarn: 1 skein (~1.9-2.0 oz or 55-60 g) of 4-ply 100% cotton yarn (1 skein makes 1 washcloth)
Needles: US size 8 (5.0 mm) 10-inch regular knitting needle (could use US size 7 or 9 as well)
Other: 2 stitch markers, ruler or measuring tape, scissors, tapestry needle
Gauge: 10 stitches in Pebble Stitch pattern with US 8 needles= 2.5 inches.
Finished Washcloth measurements: Approx. 8 x 8 inch square
