Pececito Baby Cocoon
by Sol Vance
The tail of the fish is knit flat, then the stitches are separated to form a circle and the knitting continues in the round. There are two options for finishing. The simple finish ends in a straight line of rib or a rolled edge. The hood/head cover option involves short rows, a few rows of brioche (or ribbing), and an invisible sewn bind off. It’s a good first project to learn new skills as gauge is not critical and there are no fitting issues to contend with or “at the same time” instructions.
