The border is knit first then short rows are used to complete the body of the shawl. Beads were added into the border for embellishment. I would love to hear how you drape this shawl. Most knitters who have made this at my LYS drape the large section to the front, then bring the ends over to hang in front. My model liked it as shown in the photo on the pdf file. The third photo of the lighter haired lady is my knit sister, Peggy, whom the shawl is named after. She is also a bead sister of mine. We love to knit and bead! Love ya, Peggy!!!!!!
