The Peira sweater results from a collaboration with “Knitty and Woolly” yarn. The name of the sweater was inspired by the yarn, which Fanny, the owner, named “Peira” in homage to the grey standing stones (Peira hita in Occitan) found in the Val d’Azun, where the wool is sourced.
The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The back is worked first, followed by the shoulders. Once the back and front are joined, they are knitted together in the round and finished with a hem. The sleeves are then worked in the round, and finally, the stitches are picked up along the neckline to create the neckband.
