Runching and a lace yoke provide a pretty & stylish frame for the stockinette body of this fun to knit sweater. The sport weight yarn gives just the right amount of warmth and body to the knit fabric while the dolman style is very comfortable to wear and compliments a wide variety of outfits.

“Pelerine” makes a great project for knitters ready to start working with lace stitches, since all the dolman shaping occurs before the lace yoke.

“Pelerine Dolman Sweater” is the first of three designs in my “Variations on a Theme” series. The companion designs are Renda Scarf and Reune Fingerless Mitts.
