This little pencil case is great for school, and perfect for teacher gifts!

This pattern is easy, and is written in american terms.

Materials
Worsted weight yarn in yellow, grey, beige, black and pink. All yarns shown are either Phentex Worsted or Bernat Super value except grey, which is Hobbii Starlight soft – but any worsted weight yarn will work.
5mm (H) Hook
7.8 inch zipper (slight size variation ok, see notes in pattern to adjust size of middle of case if required).
Sewing needle and yellow thread

Abbreviations
BLO = Back loops only
BO = Bind off
Ch = Chain
Hdc = Half double crochet
Hk = Hook
Invscdec = Invisible single crochet decrease
Sc = Single crochet
Sl st = Slip stitch
St = Stitch

16” long, 6” wide
