This is a straight crocheted skirt, approximately knee length, without waistband or hem. It’s constructed bottom up in 3 panels that are shaped from waist to hip. A zipper closure is installed at the back seam, and a slit opens up from the hem at the right seam.

This project was designed in a collaboration between Noelle Horner from the Product Development Team at Artfibers and Roxanne Seabright, Artfibers Design Director and company founder. Noelle originated the concept, developed the dye systems for the yarn (Artfibers SAFA), dyed the yarn, made and assembled the prototype, and modeled in all of the pictures. Roxanne built the tailoring model, measured for fit, and rendered the original idea as three graded sizes, using proprietary software.
