The back and front is in knitting; the yoke is in crochet. The yoke is then embellished with a running stitch in the embroidery wool.

MATERIALS: 3 balls (oz. each) of Paton and Baldwin’s embroidery wool: 1 skein each in black, blue, orange and yellow for embroidery a pair No. 10 and also No. 12 knitting needles (old UK size) a No. 14 Stratnoid crochet hook.

MEASUREMENTS: Length from the top of the shoulder 23 inches; width all round, 36 inches; round armhole 16½ inches.
