This pattern shows you how to crochet a stuffed penguin, penguin baby and fish. The finished penguin is approximately 4” (10.5 cm) tall and 4.25” (11 cm) across at the wings. The baby penguin is 2.5” (6 cm) tall and 3” (8 cm) wide across the wings. Each fish is 3” (8 cm) long and 1.5” (4 cm) across at the widest point. This pattern is written in English in standard American terms. It includes extra angled photos to help with assembly plus assembly instructions.

Skills needed: Knowledge of how to make a magic loop, chain, slip stitch, single crochet, treble crochet, increase/decrease, and basic sewing skills to sew on features.

Supplies: You will need worsted weight yarn in black, orange and various colors for fish. You will need a size “G” hook (G6 - 4mm), a small piece of white felt, polyester fiber filling for stuffing, yarn needle, white sewing thread, sewing needle, washout pencil or light pencil and stitch markers, if desired. You will also need access to a printer to print the template for the white felt body.
