This scarf was inspired by the scarf in the movie Penelope. That scarf is knit so I created my own crocheted version.

This is an advanced beginner pattern. There are detailed steps and pictures included for some of the techniques involved.

The width and height are customizable, with notes in the pattern for how to do this. You can also create an infinity scarf version. Gauge is not important, use the hook size that works best with your tension and yarn choice. You’ll need approximately 333 yards of each color if making the full 7’x1’ scarf.
