Pensive deer motif is made using the direct mosaic crochet technique.
The crochet direction is from bottom toward the top, with threads fasten off in each row. By breaking the threads, you obtain fringe , which is carefully trimmed by scissors to the required length when your motif is done.

The patten contains a detailed description of mosaic crochet method, a table description for each row, a colour chart, advises about blocking and completing your motif , giving it an elegant and festive note by using beads.
