These socks were designed out of my insatiable need for a new design to knit. I often find myself knitting the same patterns and digging myself into a rut. It’s funny how something a little out of the ordinary can shift your perspective, and give you a new appreciation for all the little details you didn’t notice before! Now I will share my perception with you.

These socks are worked cuff down, with a modified corrugated ribbing for the cuff. The colourwork pattern is deceptively simple, and is intentionally designed to have small floats to minimize the need to catch them in the back. A German short row heel and wedge toe are all that’s left, and these will be done before you know it!
