Meet Percy the penguin, he is made using super soft chenille yarn, the finished size when made using the specified yarn is approximately 7”.

I use James C Brett flutterby yarn to make my Percy toys however he can be made using any yarn type just be sure to adjust your hook accordingly.

You will need
James C Brett Flutterby in your choice of colour (or whichever yarn you prefer to use)
4.5mm hook or whichever hook size you need so that there are no gaps between your stitches, (dont forget to adjust your hook size if you are using a different type of yarn).
1 pair of 10mm safety eyes (you can embroider eyes if you prefer)
A stitch marker to keep track of your rounds
A yarn needle for sewing and weaving in ends

Skill level; This pattern is suitable for beginners who know how to do a magic circle and work in spirals.

You will need less that 1 skein of your chosen yarn colour and small amounts of accent colours.
