The Perdix Cardigan has a cropped, vintage inspired shape with elbow length sleeves. Worked in a seeded rib, a garter stitch collar finishes this casual but chic sweater.

The sample shown is worked in Liverpool Yarns Chunky in Gossamer.

The sweater is worked flat in pieces, blocked and then seamed. The collar is picked up and worked last.

Modifications to body and/or sleeve length will require additional yarn.

The finished chest measurements, buttoned and after blocking, are:
35 (36.5, 40, 42, 45)“. The sweater can be knit to fit with negative to positive ease.

You will need 515 (570, 630, 660, 720) yards of chunky weight yarn and a US size 10.5 (6.5mm) needle, or size to obtain a gauge of 12 sts = 4” in seeded rib.

Waste yarn or stitch holders, a yarn needle, and four 7/8” buttons are also needed.
