Hello and welcome to the crochet pattern for Peregrine the Little Fox. He is a little fox doll I designed. As his name suggests, he has an adventurous spirit and is always down to explore new places. The forests are his favorite to explore, especially when autumn comes around and the leaves begin to change. You’ll catch him playing with the leaves and foraging for mushrooms during those cool autumn days. I hope you enjoy following this pattern to make your own little Peregrine and thank you so much for your support.

This pattern is only available in English. This is an intermediate, level 1 crochet pattern. It is written in US terminology and uses metric measurements. My patterns can be of the following difficulties: Beginner level 1, Beginner level 2, Intermediate level 1, Intermediate level 2. Level 1’s are easier than level 2’s. Even though this is an intermediate pattern, I have provided various pictures and detailed instructions to help you make this pattern. You may have to zoom in on some pictures.

This pattern was designed with Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran in colorways Blood Orange 620 (1 skein), Coffee Bean 611 (1 Skein), Paper White 601, and Pure Black 602 (1 skein). Exact amounts of the yarn used are provided in the pattern. A 3.75mm (F-5) crochet hook, a pair of 10mm doll safety eyes, 56g of fiberfill, yarn needle, stitch markers, scissors, a ruler, a piece of cardboard with a straight side and a pet wire brush are needed to make this pattern.

The average sizes of the dolls are listed below:
Peregrine measures 19cm tall from the tip of his feet to the tops of his ears. When at a resting position, his arm measures 10cm from one side to the other. From the tip of his snout to the furthest end of his tail, he measures 18cm.
Note: I have been told I have tight tension. Your fox might vary in size from mine. These measurements were taken with a fox made with Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran yarns and a 3.75mm (F-5) crochet hook.
