Errata: This pattern indicates to put the hand stitches on hold and knit the thumb first, but it should actually be done the other way around: place thumb on hold, knit hand, then pick up thumb stitches and complete thumb.

Mitts are knit holding two strands of the sock yarn together, which creates a DK or light worsted weight yarn.

One skein (440 yds) of the sock yarn will get you two full pairs of mitts!
