A hat with a textured stitch pattern inspired by Gladys Thompson’s Guernsey & Jersey Patterns book. Hat is written for 3 lengths, beanie (ski cap), slouchy (cloche like), and very slouchy (tam like)- The varying lengths can also used to adapt the pattern to a variety of head sizes with blocking. Hat shown is the middle size: slouchy.

Please note that while this yarn is listed as a DK, it knitted up as a sport weight for this project. If substituting yarn consider carefully the drape and choose yarns with similar fiber content or characteristics, or choose finer yarns and knit more loosely to achieve gauge.
