Description: This pattern introduces the new Staggered Pebbles stitch. It is a textured stitch pattern with staggered raised stitches similar to the popcorn stitch. Unlike the popcorn stitch, there is no dropping loops from hook, and all the pebbles end up uniform, staggered against one another. This gorgeous new stitch pattern is a quick stitch to work, and one that lends itself beautifully to striping yarns as well as solid colors.

The Staggered Pebbles stitch pattern is worked in the round on WS, with the staggered pebble stitching appearing on the RS of work. For example, the Permafrost Dropped cowl works from the top down on the WS and then turned RS out at the end. The body is designed with graduated increases that build upon one another resulting in the generous billows of staggered pebbles you see from top to bottom throughout. This not only results in a striking cascading ripples of textured fabric, but traps warmth between these folds and waves while staying on point in style.
