This cozy, long cardigan is the perfect sweater for Fall layering, with a comfortable, oversized feel while still maintaining a slimming waist shape. Staggered vine lace motifs and a deep, relaxed v-neck give this classic garment knitterly appeal.


CONSTRUCTION
Sweater is worked flat in pieces and sewn together. Front bands are picked up and worked flat after assembly.

MATERIALS
Approx. 1105 (1215, 1350, 1465, 1610) yards of Brooklyn Tweed SHELTER
8 (9, 10, 11, 12) skeins; Sample shown in “Nest”

18 sts & 26 rows = 4” in flat Stockinette Stitch with Gauge Needle
18 sts & 26 rows = 4” in Vine Lace pattern after blocking, with larger needle

NEEDLES
One 24” circular needle in size needed to obtain gauge listed above
One 24” circular needle one size larger than Gauge Needle
One 60” circular needle three sizes smaller than Gauge Needle
