About the Persephone Cardigan
The Persephone Cardigan, inspired by the goddess of the harvest, is designed to be perfect for any season. This Cardi is knitted from the top down using DK weight yarn. For this version, I used Filcolana arwetta and tilía, but any fingering and lace weight yarn, as well as DK and sport weight yarns that match the gauge, will work beautifully. The cardigan begins at the shoulders, which are knitted separately before being joined and worked down in the flat. I hope you enjoy creating this versatile and elegant pattern!

Gauge: 20 stitches and 30 rows on a 4 mm needles in stockinette stitch (1010 cm).

Ease: 7 to -9 cm

Needles: 4 mm and 3 mm circular needles.

Materials: 200 (200) 200-250 (250) 300 (300) 350 (350) g of arwetta by Filcolana (50g = 210 m) held together with 100 (100) 100 - 125 (125) 150 (150) 175 (175) g of Tilia by Filcolana (25g = 210).
Or any fingering and lace weight yarn held together, that will result in a DK weight yarn.

Size Guide
The Persephone cardigan is designed with an ease ranging from roughly 7 to -9. The wider size range is indicated in the chest circumference section, where the sizes overlap, and you are required to choose depending on your bust circumference and fit preferences. Depending on whether you prefer a more fitted blouse or a loose-fitting cardigan, you can choose the specific size for you. Please take note of the size of the upper arm as it is a snug fit for some of the size.
I knitted the Persephone cardigan in a size 3 for myself. I have a bust circumference of 100 cm, which gave me an ease of -3 cm. My upper arm measures 32, which gives a negative ease of -2 on the arms, I don’t recommend more negative ease than -2 to -3 cm on the arms.

My versions:
The blue version is a size 4 in filcolana tilía in the colorway blue violet (319) and in arwetta in the colorway blue denim (143).

The green version is a size 3 in filcolana tilía and arwetta both in the colorway slate green (105).
