Persephone Wrap is a wrap style cardigan worked top down with raglan increases (yo’s). Yo’s are also done right after and right before the front edges until the two front pieces are (almost) as wide as the back. Named after the Greek goddess of spring - Persephone - the front of the wrap has a leaf pattern that “grows” with the increases at the edges and - at first - also with the raglan increases. The wrap can be made as a classic cardigan with long sleeves or with short sleeves as a vest to warm little bodies on cold days or as a cool summer cardigan, depending on choice of yarn.
