This shawl incorporates a simple textural design into the classic triangular shape. Using a combination of stockinette, half-linen, reverse stockinette, and garter stitches, this shawl forms structured tiers or “switchbacks”, much like the mountain trail that it is named after: the Perseverance Trail system of Juneau, Alaska.

Update: I received some errata and a lot of questions about this pattern. I did not have a test knitter, and there was only one prototype. Errata and pattern update to come soon.
