This design was created in collaboration with Morehouse Farm Merino yarn.
I’ve never worked with such a soft lace yarn before! If you need a mindless, easy project, where you can use beautiful variegated (or not) yarn, that’s what you need!
The shawl is pretty simple and is perfect for beginners.

The pattern was tech edited and test knitted.

Yarn: Morehouse Farm Merino Variegated Lace (Lace, 100% merino, 220 yds/1 oz (201 m/28 g)).

Yardage: 670 yds (612 m).

Needles: 32-40’’ (80-100 cm) US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle.

Gauge:
16 sts x 36 rows = 4 x 4’’ (10 x 10 cm) in reverse stockinette stitch.
18.5 sts x 34 rows = 4 x 4’’ (10 x 10 cm) in Stockinette stitch.

Final measurements (after blocking): wingspan 62’’ (158 cm), depth 34’’ (86 cm).

Knitting skills: basic knitting skills (knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog, ssk, p2tog, ssp), i-cord bind-off.

Construction: This is a triangular shawl worked bottom up. The garter edging is worked simultaneously with the body. The size of the shawl is easily adjustable.
