This hat will fit heads from teen to medium adult but can easily be modified to make larger or smaller.

The gauge does not have to be spot on, but your tension must stay consistent.

You need to know how to do the waistcoat stitch for this hat.

You’ll need about 1 skein of your main color and 1 skein of your contrasting color, but you won’t use the entire skein of either.

Remember to keep your two colors within the same brand of yarn. For example, you really cannot use Caron Simply Soft and Red Heart with this hat. It will not look right.
