The pattern for these pretty lace socks is written with less experienced knitters in mind. They are knitted cuff down, with a half twisted rib cuff and simple lace repeat, and feature a slipped stitch heel flap and gusset and a wedge toe.

This pattern has a YouTube video showing each step.

Sizes: 1 (2)

Measurements: Approximately 17 (20) cm foot circumference after blocking. This measurement will depend on how you block and wear your sock, but around 3-6cm of negative ease is recommended. Sizes can be further adjusted by changing the needle size for your desired fit.

Needles: 2.25mm 80cm or 100cm circular needles for magic loop. The pattern is written with magic loop in mind, but can be adapted to work with DPNs or short circular needles.

Gauge: Approximately 36 sts per 10cm in pattern after blocking. Row gauge is less important as each section is knitted to your desired length.

Yarn: 1 skein (100g) of your favourite fingering weight sock yarn should be enough for most adult sizes. I suggest choosing a sock yarn which is wool-based and contains 20-25% nylon. The sample is knitted in Regia Premium Bamboo in colour 002 Natur.
