Petal Fall Sweater
The petal fall sweater is knit from the top down in one piece. The collar is an i-cord neckline and increases are added using the invisible increase method.
The colourwork yoke is knit using the stranded/fair isle method. You can then add optional short rows for a better fit. The armhole stitches are set aside for the sleeves to be knit later. The body is then completed with a ribbed edge.
Finally, the sleeves are knit in the round and decreased to the wrist with some more stranded/fair isle colourwork and finished with an i-cord edge.
The chest has 3 inches of positive ease so that it can be worn over clothes comfortably.
