The pattern gives you the details for making the skirt pictured (for a 5-year-old). With worsted/aran weight yarns on 5mm needles, you will need about 250 yards of each of 2 colours. Knitted flat and seamed, it is a great carry-along project. Both yarns used in the sample were from my stash and the labels are missing so the yarns specified in the pattern are suggested types. The pattern gives specific sizes and calculations with general instructions on how to adapt it to different weights of yarn and different sizes. It’s a great stash-buster!
