Description

The Petal Path Sweater is a top-down drop shoulder sweater available in eight different adult sizes.

The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. Short rows are used on the back, front, and sleeves to ensure a comfortable fit.
Stitches are cast on for the shoulders first, which are knit straight down to the armhole depth. At the underarm, the front and back are joined and the body is worked in the round to the hem.
Sleeve stitches are then picked up around the armholes, worked straight down, and finished with a ribbed cuff.

The pattern uses 2 colors at a time. All colorwork parts are fully charted, so the file is fairly large. To make things easier, you only need to print the pages with the charts for your size.
Sizes: (1, 2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7, 8)

Finished bust circumference: (109, 117, 125, 132) (140, 148, 156, 163) cm /(43, 46, 49, 52) (55, 58, 61, 64)in

Full length: 60cm/23.5in

Note: This sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 12in/ 30 cm of positive ease; however, this is just a guide.
The amount of positive ease you prefer is a matter of personal style. To select the best size, measure a few of your favorite sweaters for comparison. Sleeve length will vary depending on your height and the amount of ease you choose. As a general rule, the more positive ease in the body, the shorter the sleeves should be.
