Pétale scarf
Pétale Scarf is a simple yet romantic triangular scarf, worked in garter stitch and finished with a delicate crocheted scalloped edge. The softly curved border resembles petals unfolding one by one, adding just the right balance of romance and gentle structure. Easy to knit yet rich in character, this scarf is as enjoyable to make as it is to wear.
The scarf is worked from the top down in garter stitch, with increases on every row to form a classic triangle. It is designed to be knit with one ball of fingering-weight merino held together with one ball of silk mohair, making it an ideal project for using up treasured leftovers. If you prefer a larger scarf or have more yarn in your stash, simply continue increasing in garter stitch until your yarn runs out.
The crocheted scalloped edge can be worked in a contrasting yarn for a subtle decorative highlight, or in the same yarn as the scarf for a more cohesive, understated finish. The pattern includes a step-by-step tutorial video for the crochet edge, making it accessible even if you are new to crochet.
